Prêt à Papier's 15 minutes of fame- TV, newspaper, blogs & speeches all in a week

Last week was an eventful one to say the least. It started with a surprise TV spot on the morning show on MBC. Prêt à Papier's Gatsby 20s tags made a cameo appearance on a cupcake in a jar from Jarful. Jarful is a artisan cupcake bakery in the UAE. The owner and baker behind this yummy concept is a regular client of mine. You will find Prêt à Papier's customised tags on most of her Jarfuls.

We are in a process of creating the brand packaging and special menus.

We have been working together for quite some time now and it was great to feature alongside her yummy cakes on TV.

Prêt à Papier was also featured as one of the UAE based etsy stores. It was featured in the Paper Goods category. AbuDhabidaysblog.wordpress.com is a blog written by a group of Londoners discovering life in the UAE. They chronically their adventures in this country and  share experiences and hidden gems in the UAE.

Then lastly, I was more than busy redecorating my daughters room which is also my craft room at home. I finished it this month and was asked to share the progress on the Craft Land blog. Craft Land is  Dubai's answer to quilters, crafters, embroiderers and knitters prayers in the region.

And what better place than here, for me to work part time. Yes!!part time. Is this my dream job or what?

I was recently asked to join their team of teachers to be the sewing instructor and in house designer.

Check out my post on Craft Land company blog, which includes a step-by-step bunting tutorial that you could make and decorate your own rooms. Download the free Bunting template and use it to follow the instructions on the blog.

And the icing in the cake is that this post will also be featured on 7days Newspaper Homes and Gardens supplement this Tuesday. Grab a copy to see the results of the room makeover and also read a featured piece about what I do for Craftland and Prêt à Papier.
